Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Yard Workers to join a growing precast concrete manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on, physical work and are interested in learning the concrete and precast manufacturing industry.

Previous concrete experience is not required. The company is willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with precast concrete production and general yard operations.
• Help build, prepare, and maintain forms used for concrete products.
• Assist with preparing materials and work areas for production.
• Perform heavy general labor throughout the yard and production areas.
• Handle, move, and organize materials as needed.
• Learn different concrete products, production processes, and procedures.
• Use basic hand and power tools as trained and authorized.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional production and yard duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, concrete, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be dependable and report to work on time as scheduled.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Ability to work safely in an active industrial and production environment.
• Must be comfortable with repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This position requires working outdoors and performing physically demanding labor. Employees should be prepared for prolonged standing and walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials throughout the workday.

Work may be affected by weather conditions, and rain days may result in no work.
