Key Staffing is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Delivery Driver / Tractor Loader to join our team. This position involves making deliveries within the Kern County Area, spanning a 30-mile radius, and managing loading duties during slower delivery periods. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations within the Kern County Area.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Verify delivery documents and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance as needed to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Load and unload materials weighing approximately 100 lbs using specialized trolley-like equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and secure placement of materials to prevent damage during transportation.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and coordinate loading schedules.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the vehicle and performing loading tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both the delivery vehicle and warehouse 
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and customers to address any issues or concerns.
• Provide feedback on delivery processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred.
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle and specialized loading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physical stamina to handle materials weighing around 100 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
