Job Description
Key Staffing is looking for a sanitation lead for a beef processing plant in the Hanford Area.
We currently have an opening in our Sanitation Department!
Starting Pay: $18/hr and up, based on experience.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing our beef processing facility to ensure that federal and state requirements are met. Summary of Job Duties: Will act as lead person who provides advice or assistance when problems or questions arise about the performance of sanitation procedures. Capable of cleaning and sanitizing every piece of equipment in production area. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the facility to ensure that Federal and State requirements are met. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the sanitation staff. Will conduct spot checks of sanitized equipment to verify compliance with procedures. Assists Sanitation Supervisor with accident investigations and corrective action reports. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, provide guidance to trainees. Use good judgment and common sense while performing duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee staff in the washing and sanitizing of production equipment following procedures and instructions, document activities as needed. Disassemble and reassemble parts of the machinery to ensure that equipment is cleaned thoroughly, notify appropriate parties when problems are encountered.
Wash and sanitize assigned production work area on a daily basis.
Review production schedule to ensure necessary equipment is set up and assembled correctly.
Conduct pre operation checks to verify quality of sanitation performed by staff.
Demonstrate proficiency in all sanitation activities from cleaning restrooms to the most skilled production equipment
