Pay: $19.50/hour

Position Overview
Key Staffing is currently recruiting for a Department Assistant – Quality & Risk to join a growing healthcare organization. This position plays an important role in supporting the Quality & Risk department by assisting with member outreach, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while communicating professionally with members, providers, and internal teams.
Essential Job Duties
- Make outbound calls to members to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Answer inbound calls from members and healthcare providers, routing calls and taking messages as needed.
- Review, update, and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and member charts.
- Document completed quality measures within the COZEVA system.
- Maintain accurate member records and departmental documentation.
- Assist with reports, Provider Assessment Forms (PAFs), workflow tracking, and administrative projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external healthcare partners.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned.
- Cross-train and provide coverage for other departmental functions when needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare, medical office, or administrative environment preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

- Occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays may be required based on business needs.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
