Position summary:
Key Staffing is seeking a detail oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to test and inspect products at various stages of production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities.
- Analyzes test results to classify products or compare results with standard requirements.
- Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures to adhere to food safety procedures.
- Enters data into Nutware inventory system to create tags.
- Prepares samples.
- Monitors employee safety/ food safety and report any concerns to the QC/QA Manager or Safety Manager.
- Monitors CCPs/PCs report any deviations.
- Tests for moisture.
- Conducts APC swabs.
- Verifies labels.
- Uses work equipment and materials properly.
- Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job.
- Follows all company safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Qualifications, Skill and Ability Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1+ year working in an agriculture or food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality defects, HACCP, CCPs, PCs, GMPs, Food Safety, Employee Safety, & Food Defense Awareness.
- Skilled in Nutware, ATP Hygiena Equipment, Atago Salt Meter, Aqua Moisture Meter (MCPC), MB35/25 Moisture Over.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- Ability to multitask.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
