Property Manager – Apartment Community
Location: Visalia, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $23-28/hr

Key Staffing is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a well-established apartment community in Visalia, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, leasing, and property management experience with a passion for providing exceptional resident service while maintaining a safe, attractive, and financially successful community.

Essential Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
- Market and lease available apartment homes while maintaining strong occupancy levels.
- Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out documentation.
- Collect rent payments, monitor delinquency reports, and coordinate collection efforts when necessary.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Perform regular property inspections to ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Prepare reports related to occupancy, leasing activity, resident retention, budgets, and property performance.
- Manage operating expenses while working within established budgets.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through excellent customer service and proactive communication.
- Assist with resident events and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management, apartment management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with leasing, resident relations, rent collections, and vendor management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with property management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, real estate, or property management is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for resident needs, emergencies, or community events.
