About the Opportunity
Key Staffing is currently seeking dependable and motivated Pelletizer Operators for a manufacturing facility in Fowler, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to producing quality products while maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
The Pelletizer Operator is responsible for attending to the extrusion and pelletizing production line, collecting quality control samples, preparing finished products for shipment, and supporting daily production operations. Successful candidates will prioritize Safety, Quality, and Production while working collaboratively with the production team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the pelletizer production line to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
- Perform all pelletizing functions, including loading, labeling, weighing, and packaging finished products.
- Collect quality control (QC) samples as required and inspect finished products for quality and appearance.
- Weatherproof, label, and move finished products to the designated receiving or staging area.
- Assist with bagging, identifying, staging, and loading finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready work area by following housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily production goals.
- Assist in other areas of production as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be available and flexible to work any shift, including overtime and weekends, as business needs require.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
- Quality control inspection experience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing production demands.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving machinery.
