Pay Range: $17-20/hr

Summary:
Key Staffing is seeking a Parts Counter Inside Sales Representative to support our HVAC and plumbing supply operations. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and sales assistance to contractors and business clients. You will be the go-to person for product inquiries, order processing, and ensuring customers have the supplies they need for their projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist contractors and business clients at the parts counter.
• Provide knowledgeable support regarding HVAC and plumbing supplies, answering product-related questions.
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Build strong relationships with B2B customers, primarily contractors, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Actively engage in inside sales, offering product recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product lines, and inventory.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and proper stock levels.
• Manage inventory, including stocking shelves and keeping the sales area organized.
• Address customer issues or complaints, escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to enter transactions and complete sales.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inside sales or parts counter work, preferably within HVAC or plumbing supplies.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing products and terminology.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with sales software or point-of-sale systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in HVAC or plumbing supplies sales preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
