Location: Wasco, CA
Pay: $17/hour.
Duration:75-day
Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Job Overview:
The Packer Operator is responsible for operating packaging equipment, ensuring accurate packing and labeling, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor packaging line equipment
Ensure products are properly packed, labeled, sealed, and stacked
Perform quality checks and complete production documentation
Maintain cleanliness of the packaging area and equipment
Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Support production goals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in packaging, production, or manufacturing preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery and powders
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work assigned day or night shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience operating packaging or production machinery
Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Experience following quality control and safety standards in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
Reliability, punctuality, and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment
