Location: Shafter, CA
Pay Rate: $23.00–$25.00/hr DOE
Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Key Staffing is actively hiring a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established food production facility in Shafter, CA. We’re looking for someone who knows their craft, can work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a temp-to-hire position with strong potential for long-term placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues

• Maintain and service motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and production lines

• Respond to maintenance requests efficiently to reduce production downtime

• Complete accurate maintenance logs and documentation

• Ensure equipment is operating safely and up to quality standards

• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications

• Work closely with other departments to resolve technical issues

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems

• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various indoor/outdoor environments

• Must have steel-toe boots and be able to pass pre-employment screening

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative with minimal direction

• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed
