Position Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce high-precision parts and components. This position requires attention to detail, an understanding of blueprints and technical drawings, and the ability to perform quality inspections on finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to machine parts based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Set up and adjust machines, ensuring proper operation and safety protocols.
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining processes and requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards.
• Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality output.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a manual machinist or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Proficient in the use of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining certifications a plus.
