Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician 
Location: Shafter, CA
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Key Staffing is actively hiring a Maintenance Technician for a well-established food production facility in the local area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

• Repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and production lines

• Respond to maintenance requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete required documentation

• Ensure equipment complies with safety and quality standards

• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve equipment issues

• Assist with installations, upgrades, and modifications of production systems

Requirements:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team

• Must have steel-toe boots and pass pre-employment screening
