Key Staffing is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Lebec.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintains and troubleshoots factory packaging equipment that uses PLC’s, Pneumatic Controls, Conveyors, Scales, timed Automations, Palletizers, and other duties of a maintenance tech.
Installs maintains and repairs plant machinery, equipment, and physical structures.
Diagnoses failures in machinery or equipment and makes necessary repairs.
Performs and documents preventative maintenance.
Follows specifications, blueprints, manuals, schematics drawings, and LOTO procedures to make repairs.
Uses common electrical test equipment on circuits.
Performs repairs by skillfully using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, measuring, and testing instruments.
Performs plumbing and pipefitting and related work in installing, repairing, or rerouting water, sewage, air, and gas pipes.
Documents repair procedures and parts used from inventory and maintain an accurate inventory of tools and equipment.
Performs arc welding, acetylene brazing, cutting torch, routine layout, and other duties of a Maintenance Tech.
Keep work areas clean and maintain a safe work environment.
Observe all safety rules and regulations. Inspects safety of shop area, tools, and plant area.
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Experience/Skills Required:
Must have a working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Must have a working knowledge of electrical equipment, test equipment
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
Must be able to perform basic machining tasks such as boring sprockets using a milling machine.
Must be able to read and understand shop manuals, parts diagrams, schematic drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, ladder logic, etc.
Must be able to operate heavy equipment and be a qualified welder.
Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Manufacturing/Factory Maintenance background is helpful.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in a safely manner.
