Job Title: Licensed Insurance Agent – Personal Lines
Location: Hanford, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
Pay: $20–$25/hour DOE + Monthly Incentives
About the Opportunity
Key Staffing is partnering with a growing and well-established insurance agency seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to join their Personal Lines team. After a slowdown during COVID, the company is experiencing renewed growth and is looking to add a motivated, customer-focused professional to support their expanding client base.

Position Overview
The Licensed Insurance Agent will be responsible for supporting clients with their personal insurance needs. This role blends inside sales and customer service, requiring someone who can confidently educate clients, build relationships, and identify opportunities to grow business.
This position reports directly to the department leader and joins a team of five, making this the sixth team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Write new business and provide accurate insurance quotes
- Cross-sell additional coverage and identify upsell opportunities
- Ask for referrals and contribute to new business growth
- Handle inbound client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, and pricing
- Educate clients on insurance options and explain policy details clearly
- Maintain strong relationships through excellent customer service
- Balance administrative tasks with sales and service responsibilities
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days:
- Successfully onboard and learn internal systems and processes
- Adapt to a fast-paced, client-facing environment
By 6 Months:
- Demonstrate independence and self-sufficiency
- Effectively utilize notes, tools, and internal resources
- Show initiative (ex: proactively communicating with underwriters)
- Contribute to team success through strong performance and collaboration
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Insurance License (Property & Casualty preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience in personal lines insurance
- Familiarity with Applied Epic (or willingness to learn)

Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$25/hour DOE
- Monthly incentive opportunities based on new business

- Paid Time Off:
- 2 weeks (Year 1)

Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (paid for full 40 hours)
