Key Staffing is looking to fill a Licensed Clinical Social Worker position in the Bakersfield, CA area. This is a day shift, direct hire opportunity.
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Therapy includes groups, individuals, adults, adolescents, children, and families. Services include therapy, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical impressions, safety evaluations, brief intervention, and psychoeducation to primary care patients. To improve patient health literacy, enhance and improve treatment outcomes and address mild and moderate behavioral health disorders the company consults with medical providers, substance use disorder counselors, and the psychiatry team as part of the multidisciplinary approach to care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the assessment, planning, arranging, and implementing psychosocial programs, telehealth, evidence-based practices, and culturally based programs and services.
Manages the delivery of timely, appropriate, cost-effective, and high-quality services/programs for the assigned site.
Collaborates in integrated care, strategic organizational goals/objectives, provides Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance, providing clinical and administrative direction of indicators leading to improved quality of care.
Responsible for the content of education and counseling programs for either individual patients or groups of patients and serves as liaison to community, individuals, and groups as appropriate.
Perform short-term counseling and crisis intervention, as necessary.
Counsel patients during pregnancy.
Conduct surveys and studies relating to the psychosocial status and patterns of population groups as directed.
Review and evaluate recent psychosocial health research and interpret it for professionals and patients.
Perform short-term counseling and crisis intervention as necessary.
Assist in the implementation of community and social programs as a professional counselor in accordance with company grants/contracts with federal, state, and local agencies and mandates of service requirements with those grants/contracts.
Prepare psychosocial educational materials as needed or required.
Coordinate with clinical, health education, community health and other staff members in the provision of services to patients.
Coordinate with other organizational entities involved in psychosocial and behavioral health services.
Use tests and measurement scales for general and specific assessments as well as objective patient criteria in the provision of services and evaluation procedures.
Provide in-service presentations to staff as needed or required.
Provide community service information as an outreach worker as required.
Conduct health-related educational presentations to both adults and teens in school and clinical settings.
Adhere to agency policies and procedures that advance the goals of the company in a manner that embodies the agency’s philosophy.
Provide, coordinate, and/or collaborate with Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Suicide Prevention, Probation/Parole, and Life Skills education/services upon request.
Writes grant narratives and interprets grant outcome data.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:
Experience in an ambulatory health center preferred.
Self-starter, capable of managing staff and giving directions to others, and working under pressure in certain cases.
Familiar with and sensitive to AIAN culture, family customs, and child-rearing practices.
Familiar with Electronic Health Records Systems, utilizing systems to run reports, monitor data, and evaluate outcomes, and formulate dashboards.
Education:
Masters in Social Work or related Master's Degree for LPCC or LMFT License required.
License/Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or ability to apply for licensure within 6 months of hire required.
Valid California driver’s license and DMV report with fewer than two (2) infraction points within a 12-month period and automobile insurance.
Zero Major Moving Violations in the past four (4) years.

Maintain strict confidentiality of client and personal information adhering to HIPAA, professional codes of conduct, State of CA regulations, and policies and procedures.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.

Communicate and deal effectively with people in a professional and courteous manner.
Technology Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Other Skills:
Available and willing to travel as needed.
Available to work evening and weekend hours as needed (participating in community functions, events, outreach, and engagement).
Maintains personal responsibility for maintaining valid licensure and for ensuring timely completion of appropriate Continuing Education Units for renewal of license.
