Job Description:
Key Staffing is hiring Event Personnel to work as Security/Customer Service Representatives in the Livestock Area at the Kern County Fair. This is a temporary 7-day opportunity, perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in event security and customer service. You will work alongside the livestock exhibitors, fairgoers, and staff to ensure safety, assist with directions, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of livestock and fair visitors in the designated area
• Monitor and manage crowd control in accordance with event guidelines
• Assist fairgoers with directions, information, and customer service needs
• Provide clear communication to fair staff and security team
• Adhere to event rules and regulations
• Report any suspicious activities or security concerns promptly

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Availability to work 8-10 hour shifts for 7 days consecutively
• Punctuality and reliability are a must
• Previous experience in security or event staffing is a plus, but not required
