Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and maintenance experience, with the ability to work independently and handle various electrical systems and equipment. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling required during processing and huller months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using multi-meters, including amps, ohms, and voltage measurements.
- Work with single-phase and 3-phase motors, motor overloads, and motor starters.
- Handle fuses, breakers, thermal overload protection, and voltage tracking.
- Maintain sensors, igniters, flame sensors, and ignition control modules on dryers.
- Work with scales, load cells, and 4/20 mA signals from in-field transmitters.
- Perform maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, elevators, sprockets, bearings, shafts, and chains.
- Service and maintain huller rollers, vibratory feeders, augers, auger bearings, and counterweight conveyor belt tracking.
- Work independently following detailed job descriptions and pass down work orders to ensure continuous operation.
Qualifications:
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Experience with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain motors (single-phase and 3-phase), motor starters, and overload protection.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems, gearboxes, sprockets, and bearings.
- Experience working with sensors, igniters, flame sensors, and control modules.
- Proficiency in working with load cells and transmitters for in-field signal tracking.
- Strong maintenance skills, particularly with conveyors, huller rollers, and vibratory feeders.
- Ability to work on flexible shifts during processing and huller months, including both day and night shifts.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently manage assigned tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively pass down work orders.
