Key Staffing is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Steel Structure Builders at our Lost Hills and Firebaugh locations. This position involves hands-on work constructing steel structures from the ground up, supporting various industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly and installation of steel structures, including frames, beams, and panels.
• Measure, cut, and align steel components using hand and power tools according to specifications.
• Safely operate machinery and equipment, such as welders, grinders, and cutting torches, to support construction tasks.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
• Secure steel components using bolts, clamps, or welding as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in steel structure assembly or construction (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments under varying conditions.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.), climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
