Job Title: Electrician
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary Project (6–12 Months)
Job Location: Bakersfield, CA
Salary Range: $23–$30/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled Electricians to support a commercial construction project in Bakersfield. This hands-on role focuses on the electrical buildout of a new car dealership and offers consistent first-shift hours. Ideal candidates will have strong conduit bending and wiring experience in a commercial setting.

Performance Objectives:

• Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit accurately and efficiently

• Pull, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical wiring and systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

• Install switchgear, electrical panels, and related components

• Follow all job site safety regulations and protocols

• Work collaboratively with foremen, site managers, and fellow trades

Key Competencies:

• Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and tools

• Proficiency in conduit bending (manual and mechanical)

• Strong attention to detail when wiring and troubleshooting

• Ability to follow instructions and adapt on-site

• Clear and timely communication with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 2–3 years of commercial electrical experience

• Familiarity with electrical codes and commercial job site operations

Tools & Equipment:

• Must have own basic hand tools and PPE

• Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work for extended periods during 8–10 hour shifts

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor or semi-enclosed environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification

• Valid driver’s license

• Immediate availability for project start
